If you know Destin, you know “Crab Island”! We have vacationed in this area for years and have lived here for two, but it took until this past May (thus the title: reason #1) for us to actually visit the #1 tourist attraction here. We decided to give it a go a few months ago (thus the title: reason #2) during Memorial Day weekend. We knew it would be crazy, not to mention crazy, so Tom, my kids and our future daughter in law ventured out in our boat early Sunday morning, May 30 for the 4.5 mile tour.
Yes, it was busy. Yes, it was a bit crazy. And yes, God showed up! Who knew?
I don't want to write too much on this particular post as I want the photos to do the talking, but I do want to thank and give a HUGE “shout out” to Shoreline Church in Destin for doing what they do to witness for the Lord!
What a beautiful day it was… better late than never!
This is the day the Lord has made, Let us rejoice and be glad!
